I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1989 and worked in A&E, Coronary Care and Specialist Burns Units. I decided on a slight career change and trained and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and spent many years working in small animal and mixed practices.
After joining a gym in 2015 and really catching the fitness bug I became interested in sports medicine, in particular sports in jury prevention and rehabilitation, having researched various courses I completed my level 3 & 4 Sports Massage Diplomas at The Cotswolds Academy in Cirencester.
Furthering my interest in the fitness injury I set up, own and run a modern, fully equipped gym BPF Fitness Hub in Tetbury, Glos along with my two business partners.
My treatment room is within the gym which works very well allowing me to utilise the excellent facilities for sports injury rehabilitation.
I have also taken further courses in Myofascial Cupping, Kinesiology Taping, Pregnancy Massage and Musculoskeletal Assessment to complement my Sports Massage.
